Kagome was flattered. She gently picked up the bouquet and admired them. “They’re beautiful,” she said as she held them up to her nose again. “These are my favorite. Thank you. You just made my day!” She laughed and he laughed with her, color rising to his cheeks.
“I hope they make up for the other night. I really am sorry about all that.”
Kagome fidgeted in her seat. “You have nothing to apologize for. It was just a weird night for me. I guess I was a little overwhelmed with the club and that guy…”
“What guy?” Shippo asked.
