Chapter Sixty: Good Night Kiss

They talked, laughed, ordered more dessert, and had a good night overall. Kagome enjoyed herself so much she was more than a little surprised when she looked down at her watch.

“Oh my! It’s nearly 1 AM!” A little flustered she patted her pockets for her keys and phone. “I’m so sorry, but I have work in the morning…I should really get going.”

Her companion for the night took it all in stride. He helped her with her coat, paid the bill, and saw her to her car safely. Then things suddenly got awkward. “Do I kiss him?” She wondered.
